Each year, we provide paid work experience opportunities to ~20 youth wanting to start their career in IT through the CFS Intern Program, an initiative of the Computers for Schools Plus program.
Hardware Technicians refurbish computers for distribution to BC schools and other learning organizations. Working here exposes youth interns to many makes and models of computer equipment and allows them to hone their hardware expertise while developing team-building, communication, and mentorship skills.

In order to participate, you must be:
• between the ages of 15 and 30
• a high school graduate
• a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or granted refugee status in Canada
• legally entitled to work in Canada
• not currently receiving Employment Insurance (EI) benefits
These positions are funded through the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy with the goal of preparing youth for the tech jobs of the future. You must meet all of the eligibility requirements above to qualify.
